PwC Tax, one of the world’s leading tax advisory businesses, was embarking on a firmwide initiative “Your Tomorrow – Project 5 Million” (P5M). The organization set out to digitize 5 million billable hours to create time and space for professionals to upskill deeper technical, digital, consultative, and business development skills.

The challenge was scale and fragmentation. PwC Tax operated as a business within a business, composed of 13 autonomous units with distinct leaders, technologies, and processes.

OUTCOME: A unifying Future Vision for PwC Tax anchored in transforming client value, integrating technology and data, elevating the workforce, and repositioning Tax as a strategic driver of growth across the enterprise. This vision would reshape the meaning and role tax plays in the business world, now and in the future.
